At Creative Minds Early Learning, we believe that the environment is vitally important in providing provocation, stimulation and wonderment.
In our Borobi Studio (which cares and educates children aged 2-3 years old), the children have shown that they are great nurturers, especially if one of their friends hurt themselves. They can often be found patting their friends on their back while an educator places a band aid on the smallest of marks on their knees or arms. With this in mind, the educators provided an environment for the children to collaborate and explore the wonders of Borobi’s Hospital.
They have shown great delight in listening to each other’s hearts, healed boo boo’s on their pictures and places bones (cotton buds) onto their hand x rays (white hand prints on black paper) and sung songs such as Miss Polly Had a Dolly (who was sick, sick, sick). It has been such a joy watching the children as they learn, discover and grow and where learning is fun!
