Did you know that we have the most beautiful garden at the end of our senior yard?  While we have grown some amazing vegetables and herbs, such as eggplant, rosemary, parsley, zucchini and cherry tomatoes, the children have also taken great pride in the sunflowers that they have grown.  They have used milk containers brought from home to use as watering cans and have vigilantly watered and feed all the plants in the garden beds, including the tall, tall sunflowers.

This little chap was absolutely chuffed that the sunflowers he had helped to nurture were going to reception for everyone to see and admire.

Sandra Faye says it perfectly when she says, “Hidden inside every flower are seeds of imagination, destiny and future dreams.” This is also what we believe of our children!
