Lihir Island Baby Bundle Project

As part of our services sustainability management plan which includes commitment to supporting both the wider community and global sustainability, we are actively involved with a donation-based support group called the Lihir baby bundle project’’. This group is based on Lihir Island, which is part of Paupa New Guinea. We have a direct connection to this group through friends of our service.
The Lihir Baby bundle project was established in 2021 to originally assist and support the mothers and babies on Lihir Island. The lack of basic clothing and medical needs has seen it grow into a wider project where donations are now spread through the island’s schools and communities.
Families and friends are welcomed to donate any used or unwanted items such as clothing, books, toys, kitchen equipment, recycled school supplies and medical supplies’ which we then have transported to the island.
