We acknowledge Reconciliation Week, our children explored what makes our classroom, country and community special. Through meaningful conversations, they shared ideas such as kindness, sharing, belonging, playing together, and using nice words.
These discussions help children build an understanding of respect, inclusion, and connection, values that are at the heart of reconciliation. By listening to children’s voices and encouraging a sense of belonging, we are helping to create a future built on understanding and unity for all Australians.
during Reconciliation Week we continued to learn about and celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories, and perspectives, while reflecting on how we can walk together with respect and care every day.
