Magical Garden Show

The children are now starting off with their Winter garden programme. To start the season off we had a Magical Garden Growers Show. Throughout the interactive show the children discovered what can grow in the garden, what creatures are found in the garden and how to care for the garden. The children learnt about compost and Layla was invited to the front to use the compost juice to water the plants.

The children in small groups were invited into the garden to plant sunflower seeds with Miss Angela. She assisted the children with digging the holes, planting the seeds and watering them. The gardening growers program will be coming every second Wednesday and running a seasonal gardening program. This assists the children to care for the environment and creates a sense of belonging and care.
